SUMMER LEAGUE MVP?
It's just the Summer League but Keegan Murray has solidified himself as one of the early favorites for Rookie of the Year next season.
The Sacramento Kings received a lot of criticism for passing up on projected top-4 pick Jaden Ivey and taking Murray with the fifth overall selection.
Through 7 games in the Summer League, Murray has already silenced his critics and doubters averaging 21.7 points and 7.6 rebounds capped off by a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double to help the Kings overcome the Phoenix Suns, 82-69, in his last Summer League game.

The Iowa standout scored 20 or more points in all but one game in his Summer League run including a 29-point game against second overall pick Chet Holmgren, who was limited to only 8 points.
He has more 20-point games than fellow top-five picks Paolo Banchero, Holmgren, Jabari Smith, and Ivey combined.
More impressive that his production is his overall efficiency — Murray did it on 50/40/80 splits.
The Kings look to end their NBA record 16-year playoff drought with exciting team next year featuring DeAaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Harrison Barnes, Davion Mitchell, and Murray.
